Restorative Services

A Proper Fit Through Precision

It sounds so basic, but getting a proper fit requires an enormous amount of knowledge. Our prosthodontists are specialists in understanding how the jaws and teeth should work together. Our doctors and technicians are also true restoration craftsmen. When you combine our people with our technology, you get precision. Precision equals a good comfortable fit.

A Natural Color

To create a truly natural look, the shade of each tooth must be matched perfectly within the whole mouth. Our doctors will guide you on the best, most natural, healthy color during your initial temporary phases. At the final porcelain phase, our master-level technicians create custom color palettes for you. Not only will your teeth fit and function, but they will also esthetically suit you.

If you’re looking for the best in restorative treatment, look no further than Ozark Prosthodontics in Little Rock, AR. Our team of experienced professionals use only the highest quality materials and the latest techniques to ensure that you get the best results possible. We understand that your smile is important to you, and we strive to exceed your expectations. Read on to learn about some of the restorative services we offer.

Long Lasting Dependable Results

Our final porcelain crowns, bridges, and full arch implant-supported bridges are designed to be durable and functional. We expect that the teeth we make for you will last 20 years; that is four times longer than most on the market today. Our goal is to build a beautiful and permanent smile for decades to come.

Fixed Implant-Supported Teeth

Perhaps one of the most exciting innovations in full mouth reconstruction is the full arch fixed dental implant solution. In short, this solution is rebuilding and/or replacing all of the teeth in a patient’s mouth. Full mouth reconstructions combine esthetics with the science of restorative dentistry to improve the health, function, and beauty of the mouth. Patients who have experienced dental problems throughout their mouths must be treated comprehensively. The doctor must have a vision with a final result that improves both function and aesthetics. These patients may exhibit multiple missing teeth, teeth failing or exhibiting decay related to medications or radiation exposure, or even cracked or broken teeth from an accident. There is also a group of patients who were born with conditions such as Ectodermal Dysplasia, Amelogenesis Imperfecta, or Dentinogenesis Imperfecta that will need extensive restoration of their teeth. These patients are often candidates for full mouth reconstruction using fixed implant supported teeth. The ability to use multiple implants in the jaw and attach an entire bridge of fixed teeth is a game changer for most of these patients. This solution is literally as close as science and technology can get to replicating how natural healthy look and perform. OP has been doing this solution for over 20 years. We have the surgical and restorative expertise you need.

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers

If you want to restore a discolored, damaged, or missing tooth, crowns, bridges, and veneers are excellent options.

The journey to creating natural-looking porcelain restorations begins with a precise impression. At OP, we leverage digital to capture the impression. Not only is this type of impression more accurate, but it is also significantly more comfortable for you, the patient. The next step is to get the color of the new tooth exactly right. Our master technicians will take photos and create a custom shade palate to ensure that your new tooth is an identical match to the adjacent teeth. Our goal is for no one, including you, to be able to tell the difference between the new restoration and your natural teeth. But first, you may be wondering what exactly a crown is, bridge or veneer.

Crowns are “caps” that cover a damaged tooth, restoring it to its original shape and size. While the crown is designed to replicate the function and appearance of the natural tooth, it also serves as a protective barrier that preserves the original tooth structure—and hopefully prevents the need for extraction.

Bridges, on the other hand, are used to replace missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth, or multiple false teeth, between two crowns. The appliance quite literally bridges the gap that missing teeth leave behind. In order to establish the strength of the bridge, the crowns that make up both ends of the bridge are secured over the natural teeth, with the prosthetic teeth suspended in between the crowns.

Veneers are primarily used to modify the color of teeth. They are the treatment of choice for teeth that are relatively intact but may be misshapen, discolored, or chipped. A veneer is a shell of porcelain that is bonded to the front of the tooth. Veneers can be equally as strong and longlasting as crowns.

Obturators, Speaking Appliances & Palatal Lifts

At OP, we have the ability to help cancer patients return normalcy back to their life by creating unique prosthetic solutions that return oral function capabilities such as speech, swallowing, chewing, and even improving facial esthetics. We will work with your oncologist and radiation doctors to create a treatment plan prior to any surgery, chemo, or radiation. Our goal will be focused on preserving your quality of life.
